As the semester comes to a close, please remember to submit your LASC/WI assessment form for all LASC and/or writing intensive classes taught this year (Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Spring 2016). Congratulations to Troy Schmidt, Coordinator of Academic Intervention, who has been elected the Region 6 Chair within NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising. Being elected to this leadership position is a tribute by Troy’s peers and a recognition of his significant professional contributions to and excellence in the field of academic advising.
Last Saturday, April 23, 2016, the university’s largest, annual fundraising event for need-based, merit, academic and athletic scholarships was held and saw a record-breaking 343 in attendance. The event raised over $167,000.
