Now’s the time to apply for 2024-25 scholarships

Knock something off your to do list before finals: Fill out MSUM’s Single Scholarship Application to be considered for 300+ scholarships. Simply fill out one online form at www.mnstate.edu/scholarships to be matched to all the scholarships you’re eligible for. The application is due Feb. 1. ID Card replacement notifications

MSUM will be implementing a new ID card security protocol next spring. To implement this change all employees must have a current style ID card.  Messages from the email address:  msum_id_card_replacement@lists.mnstate.edu will be sent each month reminding employees, with old style cards,  to get their ID cards replaced. Please follow the instructions in the emails. Thank you.

Dr. Alison Wallace and Dr. Ellen Brisch publish paper on inclusive writing-to-learn activities on cancer biology topics

Bioscience Department faculty members, Alison Wallace and Ellen Brisch, collaborated with colleagues from Colorado State University to publish a paper entitled “Boosting student performance with inclusive writing-to-learn assignments through graphic organizers in large enrollment undergraduate biology courses” in the Tips and Tools section of the Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education.
