Students and supporters walk around MSUM to raise awareness about hearing loss
MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Students with The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association at Minnesota State University Moorhead organized a ‘Celebrate Sound’ Walk to bring awareness towards those who have hearing loss.
More than fifty people showed up for the walk and the attendees walked around the whole school.
The students who put the walk together are raising scholarship funds for incoming students who want to get into the speech pathology and audiology program.
One of the students, and Sertoma representative for NSSLHA, McKenna Keller says she wants to advocate for other individuals who are suffering from hearing loss.
