Banned Books Reading Group: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
Join us on October 19 for our next Banned Books Reading Group as we discuss Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz— a coming-of-age young adult novel about two Mexican-American teenagers who form a life-changing friendship in 1987 El Paso, Texas. This award-winning, internationally renowned book is a “tender, honest exploration of identity” (Publishers Weekly) and distills lyrical truths about family and friendship through the unlikely connection between two teens.
We will be meeting in the Library Porch from 12-1 PM. This event celebrates the freedom to read and is open to MSUM faculty, staff, and students.
