Minnesota State Moorhead Employee and Alumni Featured in “Three Ways Home” Photography Exhibition

Chris Franz, MSUM Associate Director of Experiential Learning & Assessment, is one of three photographers featured in Three Ways Home, a new exhibition opening at The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum in Moorhead. Franz is joined by fellow MSUM alumni Sarah Christianson and Lewis Ableidinger.

The exhibition explores three different relationships to the idea of home. Franz spent ten years photographing his childhood hometown of Mandan, North Dakota, Christianson reflects on her family’s four-generation farm in eastern North Dakota, and Ableidinger documents the present-day communities and landscapes of rural North Dakota.

Three Ways Home will be viewable September 11 through October 25, with a public opening and artist gallery talk at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at The Rourke.
