Fagerstrom, Poplin recognized by National Football Foundation
Congratulations to Ellen Fagerstrom and Julia Poplin, co-faculty athletics representatives for Minnesota State Moorhead Dragon Athletics. They were recently presented with plaques from the National Football Foundation and Fidelity Investments in recognition of their commitment to scholar athletes.
The plaques, as well as a $5,000 donation to support academics at MSUM, both resulted from former Dragons and current NFL quarterback Jack Strand being named a finalist for the Campbell Trophy, the nation’s premier scholar-athlete award, and an NFF Scholar-Athlete Class member.
