Brittany Tischmak knew since Kindergarten she wanted to be a writer and teacher. She’s now an English teacher in Inver Grove Heights, Minn. and a mentor to new teachers.
After receiving her master’s in curriculum and instruction at Minnesota State Moorhead, she decided to stay for her doctorate. She’ll receive her Ed.D. on May 8, when she speaks at commencement.
