Dragon Impact Awardee Jenessa Fillipi transforms houses into homes
Double Dragon Jenessa Fillipi, executive director of Down Home, is a recipient of the 2026 Dragon Impact Award! She is helping break the cycle of homelessness one family at a time by furnishing homes, strengthening connections, and transforming communities.
“I want people to know the importance of Down Home and other nonprofits in our community, and that together, truly, we are better,” she says.
Jenessa earned her bachelor’s in secondary education – social studies (’03) and master’s in counseling (’07) from MSUM.
