Student Campus Climate Survey opens March 18
Student voices matter! Please encourage students to participate.
Moorhead is partnering with the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium (HEDS) to administer our Student Campus Climate Survey, which opens March 18. The results will tell us how Dragon students perceive Minnesota State Moorhead’s climate and level of support for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and understand whether students have experienced discrimination or harassment. Student responses are anonymous and will not be used to investigate specific individuals or incidents.
- President Downs sent an email yesterday to all undergraduate and graduate students encouraging them to participate in the survey.
- Students will receive weekly emails from Moorhead@hedsconsortium.org beginning March 18, inviting them to participate in the survey.
- A D2L message will run during the open survey period, March 18-April 16.
- Messages will be posted in student news, along with five weekly winners of $50 Visa gift cards for those who participate in the survey.
- We will announce survey winners on Instagram stories to encourage more students to participate.
- Digital signage will run on campus monitors.
How can you support this vital effort?
- Attached is a PPT slide to use in classes or share in your departments. It includes a QR code with an email login to begin the survey. After students complete the survey, they will be prompted to enter the Student Survey Prize Drawing.
- Jered Pigeon has business cards with the same information that you can hand out to students. Email him at jered.pigen@mnstate.edu for copies.
At Moorhead, we are committed to graduating the region’s most sought-after professionals. That starts with creating a campus climate where every Dragon feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
We appreciate your support and help in encouraging students to participate.
