Staff Excellence Awards: Board of Trustees now accepting nominations
The Board of Trustees is now accepting nominations for the newly announce BOT Staff Excellence Award.
Submit your nomination before the deadline on Wednesday, March 18.
The Board’s Staff Excellence Award will be awarded to two (2) employees represented by AFSCME, two (2) employees represented by MAPE and one award to a staff member covered under the non-represented compensation plan. Staff Excellence award recipients will receive a commemorative plaque along with a $1,000 achievement award.
Recipients will have made significant contributions through outstanding achievement, service excellence and/or innovation. Eligible employees for this award include all non-faculty, non-student employees who work at least half-time and are covered under the AFSCME or MAPE collective bargaining agreements or the non-represented compensation plan (formerly known as the “Commissioner’s Plan”). The nominee must have completed a minimum of two (2) years of continuous service, with a fully satisfactory performance record, and be actively employed at the time of the award.
Award recipients will be recognized at the Frontline Conference on Wednesday, May 20 at Saint Paul College. All nominees will be acknowledged at the event, which follows the May board meeting. Please help to promote this important award recognizing the extraordinary and vital contributions of non-faculty staff to our mission and please plan to join us at Frontline this coming May!
