Dragon STEMinar: Ananda Shastri to talk on the Physics of Bubbles and Artificial Gravity
Smartphones provide a variety of tools that allow precise measurements, allowing anyone to explore interesting phenomena in the world around them. In this talk, we discuss two explorations using smartphone sensors: how the pressure inside a bubble changes with radius, and how artificial gravity on a rotating space station is different from gravity on earth.
There will be snacks on the Library Porch starting at 2:30 p.m. with the talk beginning at 3 p.m. in Library 103. We hope to see everyone there!
Bonus: Two attendees will win $20 MSUM Bookstore gift cards!
