Dragon Student and North Dakota Army National Guard Member Receives Sanford Veterans & Military Scholarship
Minnesota State Moorhead student Abigale Strandlie receives a Sanford Veterans and Military Scholarship. The Sanford Health Military and Veteran Scholarship is an annual award honoring Veterans, Guard and Reserve members, and active-duty service members who have demonstrated exceptional character and leadership. This scholarship recognizes individuals committed to advancing their education while enriching the lives of others through service, academics, and community involvement. Abigale was one of four recipients in the region selected from more than 50 applicants.
She is a member of the North Dakota Army National Guard. The 141st MEB in Fargo.

Abigale is completing her Speech Language Hearing Sciences program and plans to apply to Speech Language Pathology graduate programs as she continues her path of academic and military service.
The scholarship was presented by representatives from Sanford Health, including Michael Dishman, Senior Director of Learning & Development, and Michael Burson, a member of the Sanford Human Resources team.
