Oceanarium students take on Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium

This past November 14-16, Oceanarium students traveled to Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium to get a behind the scenes experience at their aquarium! They got to see the Zoo’s state of the art water quality lab, their food prep commissary, and quarantine spaces. Students asked the aquarium’s animal care manager questions about day-to-day operations and what the world of aquarium sciences looks like on the professional level.
