Minnesota State Moorhead Celebrates American Indian Heritage Month in November

Join us to kick off American Indian Heritage Month with events free and open to the public.

November 1–14: Tribal Nation Flag Display (CMU Sun Garden) – Explore flags representing the tribal nations of MSUM’s American Indian students, each accompanied by information about the tribe and its symbolism.

November 3 at 12 p.m.: Opening Pipe Ceremony (Library Porch) – Delvin Rogers, a member of the Three Affiliated Tribes, will lead a traditional pipe ceremony to welcome in American Indian Heritage Month.

These events mark the first week of celebration, with more events to follow throughout November.
