Jared Gregoire Named NSIC Cross Country Athlete of the Week

BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Minnesota State Moorhead’s Jared Gregoire was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Tuesday morning. The honor comes following a winning run in his return to competition last Friday.

NSIC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Jared Gregoire (R-So.,  Buffalo, Minn. / Buffalo HS) – MSU Moorhead
– Won the men’s Fred Dahnke run as part of the Dragon Twilight Invitational on Friday
– Clocked a winning time of 16:45, winning the race by nearly six full seconds
– Was the top finisher amongst a field that featured Division I, II and III competition
– Helped the Dragons to a runner-up team finish with the performance

Gregoire and the Dragons will race again on Friday, September 19 as part of the Roy Griak Invitational. Action begins with the women’s race at 11:30 a.m.
