Alumna Leads Minnesota Arts Community
Music alumna Sue Gens understands the importance of leading a creative life. As the executive director of the Minnesota State Arts Board, one of the nation’s oldest state arts agencies, Gens blends her love of the arts and public policy to promote the arts throughout the state. The Arts Board allocates approximately 94% of its $60 million budget annually to local artists, art projects, programs, and art organizations.
