Distinguished alumna opens doors for female athletes
Even before Title IX passed, physical education alumna Rita Rislund paved the way for female athletes. She has spent her career as a Title IX advocate, educator, and athletic director, collecting accolades along the way. Earlier this week, Rita was recognized by MSUM’s Foundation as a Distinguished Alumna at the College of Science, Health, and the Environment (CSHE) Legacy Luncheon.
