Dr. David Wolff Presented at the Kansas Association of Teacher Educators Conference

Dr. David Wolff, Assistant Professor of Elementary Inclusive Education in the School of Teaching and Learning presented at the annual Kansas Association of Teacher Educators conference on April 4. Dr. Wolff presented two breakout sessions titled, Writing Together: How PLC Experiences Shaped Our Community of Practice and, Developing Empathetic Preservice Techers Using Literary Fiction as Case Studies. The first presentation discussed the transition from K-12 to higher education and the adaption to the scholarly writing expectations of higher education. The second presentation discussed using literary fiction as case studies in the classroom to build empathy for struggling readers.
