MSUM Students Rank Top 10 In World In Global Business Simulation
A team of MSUM business students have been recognized as a top ten global team in the international competitive business simulation, GLO-BUS. The team, consisting of Accounting seniors Isabel Olson & Rosalee Moske, and Accounting & Finance senior Kolsen Papon, achieved the ninth best overall game-to-date score for the week of November 11 through 17.
The simulation is a competition-based exercise in which students work in teams to manage a digital camera company. GLO-BUS’s weekly ranking are based on a 50%-50% weighting for the Investor Expectations and the Best-in-Industry scoring standards.
The MSUM team’ finished top ten, with’s top ten finish came against 2,975 teams from 151 other colleges and universities from around the world competing.
