Volcanoes in Our Solar System – a new student created planetarium show!

Experience the Solar System from an explosive viewpoint! Geology student Bridgett Grosz brings together countless new concepts and research findings from the world of planetary volcanology in Volcanoes in our Solar System. From volcanoes on Earth to the ice volcanoes of Triton, as well as planetary development, evolution, and present-day structures, get ready to learn about the unique study of space volcanoes!

Volcanoes are like taking a look inside the planet. They erupt lava, rocks, and gasses, giving a view of the internal processes and dynamics of our planet, as well as altering and creating external structures like islands and mountains. They can tell us about the history of our planet and the future. So, what do volcanoes in space tell us?

This program is a part of the NASA TEAM II grant award.  Get your tickets for this show, it’s sure to be a blast!
