MSU Moorhead Early Childhood Education adds online option

MSU Moorhead is adding an online option for its undergraduate Early Childhood Education degree. Previously, the program was only available on campus.

The new online delivery method opens the door for students who are employed full-time or live further away from campus.  The CAEP-accredited Early Childhood Education program prepares future educators to teach children from birth through third grade in a variety of diverse and inclusive environments.

“Our new online track allows individuals to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education in a very accessible manner. We accommodate a variety of students, including paraprofessionals, practicing teachers who want to add the coursework to apply for the Early Childhood Education teaching license, and those who work and live at a distance,” said Dr. Erin Gillett, professor and chair of MSUM’s School of Teaching & Learning.
