Finalists for College of Business, Analytics & Communication
Greetings Campus Community,
I am pleased to announce the four final candidates for the College of Business, Analytics & Communication (CBAC) Dean. Each candidate will hold an open forum with the topic: “Share your vision of leading the College of Business, Analytics, & Communication in the 21st century; Discussion to include the intersectionality of Student Demographics; our college’s programmatic portfolio; and the workplace of the future.”
The date, time, and location for each candidate’s open forum is noted below. Each forum will be in-person in CMU 203. If you cannot attend in-person, we will offer a live stream option linked below.
A question and answer session will follow the forum discussion. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback here. Your participation in this search process is greatly appreciated
I want to thank the search committee for their important Service to the University: Josh Behl, Samantha Gust, Elizabeth Evert-Karnes, Adam Goyt, Adaeze Nwaigwe, Denise Gorsline, Hyun Sang An, John Green, Jo Berg and Bonnie Baumgardner.
Dr. Michael Fronmueller is currently at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where he has served as Dean of the College of Business and Economics and as a Full Professor of Management. He previously served in the same capacities at Colorado State University-Pueblo, Le Moyne College – Syracuse, California State University – Northridge, and the University of Louisiana – Lafayette . In total, Dr. Fronmueller has served in the capacity of Dean for over 14 years. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management, Management, & Marketing from Washington State University and MBA from Eastern Washington University.

Dr. Les Hollingsworth is currently at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville where he has served as Director of the School of Business, Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs, and Marketing Director. He previously served as Director of Operations & Student Services, Curriculum Development Manager, and Admissions Evaluator/Officer at Apollo Group in Phoenix, AZ. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Saint Ambrose University, a Doctoral Certificate from University of Southern Mississippi, MBA from University of Phoenix, and a BA from Luther College.

Dr. Peter Sherman is currently at Western Colorado University where he has served as School of Business Founding Dean and Founding Director of Outdoor Industry MBA. He previously served at the University of Evansville Dean, Associate Dean, Endowed Chair, Director, and Associate Professor. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Nebraska, MBA from Creighton University, and BA from University of Kansas.

Dr. Tim O’Keefe is currently at Longwood University, Farmville, VA where he is the Dean of the College of Business and Economics. He previously served as Executive Director & Chair of the School of Entrepreneurship at the University of North Dakota. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, MBA from Moorhead State University, BA and Associate of Arts from Mayville State University.
