Minnesota Innovation Grant Awarded for OER Program

Librarians Mary Muehlberg and Colleen Gordon were awarded a small seed grant of $8,000 through Minnesota State Innovation Funding to fund the project “Creation of Inclusive OER Materials for Liberal Arts and Sciences Curriculum (LASC).” The project is a collaboration between the Livingston Lord Library, the Office of Online Learning, and the Diversity and Inclusion Office and will solicit two faculty members to write OER materials for LASC courses using EDDs and will hire a panel of BIPOC students to review materials for inclusivity. These OER materials will then be published to Opendora and used in the designated LASC courses during the Spring 2024 semester.
