Reclaiming Native Truth: Dispelling America’s Myths and Misconceptions
Speaker: Dr. James Knutson-Kolodzne was the Director of the American Indian Center at St. Cloud State University from 2004 until his retirement earlier this year. Dr. Knutson-Kolodzne has been involved in Indian education for 30 years in Minnesota and Wisconsin public K-12 schools, tribal colleges, and higher education, including the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system (MnSCU). He is the founding director of the Native Studies Summer Workshop for Educators (NSSWE).
Knutson-Kolodzne earned a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Guidance/Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from St. Cloud State University.
