MSUM Lab Crawl community partners survey
MSUM faculty lab heads,
The first annual lab crawl last spring was a great success and we would like to make it even better this year. To this end, the Center for Engaged Learning is asking you to fill out this 2 minute survey to identify potential businesses and other partners in the community we could approach to provide sponsorships, networking, and prizes for the second annual lab crawl, which will be held the week of the Student Academic Conference. This way we will have more incentives for students to visit the labs, increase our visibility in the community, and can make connections between industry and the research that is happening at MSUM. In short, we will provide opportunities for faculty, students, and community members to network and get started on community engaged research.
Any business or community leads that relate to your line of research or area of interest would be great! For example, a scientist studying baby’s abilities to track visual stimuli may tell us about an optometrist that might be interested in this work. Don’t worry if you don’t have contact info; we can find that if you give us the names of potential community organizations. We are simply looking to generate a list of local businesses, organizations, non-profits, and other community stakeholders who may be interested in partnering with MSUM researchers to conduct community engaged research projects.
