Minnesota State University Moorhead student body president Kaleen Krueger is the Moorhead representative for Students United’s 2018 Washington, D.C., Lobby Trip, from Tuesday, March 6 – Friday, March 9.

This annual trip is the only time student representative from all Minnesota State universities are brought to Washington, D.C., to lobby on a specific legislative agenda that encompasses the topics students pre-determined as important to them. Students will meet U.S. Senators and their staff, along with Representatives to discuss topics such as, Title IX, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Federal Perkins Loan, expansion of the Pell Grant, and textbook affordability.
