Steve Lindaas and students presented at American Association of Physics Teachers conference

Steve Lindaas, Physics and Astronomy, along with students Jared Saunders and Isaac Skalsky attended the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) summer conference last week. The conference was held at the University of Maryland. In addition to visiting the Einstein memorial by the National Academy of Sciences (#PhotosWithAlbert), they also presented a workshop, “Demo Kit in a Box: Electrodynamics”. The workshop was well received and resulted in an invitation to present at the Ohio AAPT section meeting for in-service teachers. Support for the students to attend this conference was made possible by a NSF Noyce Capacity Building grant.
