Sioux Falls, SD – July 1, 2015 – Two local women recently received national recognition for outstanding achievement in the insurance industry. Bonnie Merz and Jennifer Christensen of Holmes Murphy beat out top performers in their field to win annual awards from the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP).
Merz, a claim service consultant in Sioux Falls, won the 2015 IAIP National Claims Professional of the Year award. She was chosen over nine other regional winners across the nation. Christensen, a client service consultant, loss control & PC for Holmes Murphy in Sioux Falls, received the 2015 IAIP Region V Risk Management Professional of the Year award earlier this month. Both women have worked in the insurance industry for a combined 20+ years.

To win these annual awards, insurance professionals must demonstrate superior knowledge of the field, leadership qualities, professional advancement through educational pursuits, and civic involvement, among other strengths.
