Joy Crouch now serving as director of development for the MSUM Alumni Foundation

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Alumni Foundation is pleased to announce that Joy Crouch has been serving as the director of development in the MSUM Alumni Foundation since Aug. 4, 2014.

Prior to this position, Crouch spent the last 12 years working at Hospice of the Red River Valley as a development officer specialized in planned giving.

As the director of development at the MSUM Alumni Foundation, Crouch works closely with alumni, businesses and friends who desire to invest in transforming the future through financial support for MSUM programs and students. Crouch also coordinates the marketing of planned gifts and planned giving seminars for the foundation.

Senior Development Officer of the MSUM Alumni Foundation Leo Ringey said that part of Crouch’s job will be visiting MSUM alumni and friends in North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, Virginia, Utah and Georgia.

“She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), as recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals,” Ringey said. “We are fortunate to have Joy as the director of development at the MSUM Alumni Foundation. Her background in planned giving and her experience in the Fargo-Moorhead community make her a valuable member of our Alumni Foundation team.”

“MSUM faculty, staff and students are already doing extraordinary things,” Crouch said, “and the university is poised to achieve even greater heights. I look forward to helping develop the funds necessary for today’s innovations and tomorrow’s endowed scholarships and funds.”
