Finalists for Director of Public Safety on campus week of Aug. 25
Finalists for the Director of Public Safety will be on campus the week of August 25, 2014.
Marc Baetsch
Mark Baetsch has been Public Safety Sergeant at MSUM since 2006. He was a police officer at NDSU from 1997 to 1999, and again from 2000 to 2006. He has served as an officer in the Bismark Police Department as well as Maclean County Deputy Sherriff. In addition, he has been an officer with the Bismark Police Department. He was Sergeant in the North Dakota National Guard from 1990 to 1998. He holds a B.A. from NDSU in Sociology with a Criminal Justice emphasis, and an M.S in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinatti.
His open will be on Tuesday, August 26th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in CMU 205.
Rachel Jordan
Rachel Jordan has been Lecturer in Criminal Justice at NDSU since 2008, and is currently an adjunct instructor for the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at MSUM. She was an officer with the Fargo Police Department from 2005 to 2012, and has served as School Resource Officer with the Fargo Public School District. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Dakota, where she graduated cum laude, as well as an M.S. in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven with emphases in Criminal Investigation and Major Crime Scene Examination. She is currently completing a Ph.D in Criminal Justice Administration at NDSU.
Her open forum will be on Thursday, August 28th, from 12:00 to 1:00 in CMU 205.
Matthew Loeslie
Matthew Loeslie has been Public Safety Training Director at Minnesota West Community and Technical College since 2010, and an officer with the Minneota Police Department since 2011. He was an officer with the Marshall Police Department from 2006 to 2011. During that time, he was Crime-Free Muti-Housing Coordinator at Marshall. He holds a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from South Dakota State University, as well as a M.A. in Criminal Justice Leadership from Concordia University in St. Paul.
His open forum will be on Friday, August 29th, from 12:00 to 1:00 in CMU 205.
