Rinita Dalan, Anthropology and Earth Science, co-authored a poster presented at the 79th Annual Meeting of the Society for American Archaeology, April 23-27, in Austin, Texas. The poster, by Michael Hargrave, R. Berle Clay, Rinita Dalan and Diana Greenlee, titled “Posts at Poverty Point: A View from Haag’s Rise”, focused on post circles and seemingly un-patterned post features at the Poverty Point State Historic Site in Louisiana, integrating information from remote sensing and excavation with models generated from soil magnetic studies.
