Director of Early Education Center second open forum today
Two finalists for the position of Director of the Early Education Center are scheduled to hold open forums for the MSUM community. The forums are scheduled for May 21 and 22, 1:15-2 p.m. in 201 Lommen Hall. All members of the MSUM community are invited to attend. Each of the candidates will provide a short presentation addressing the value of the Early Education Center to the MSUM campus as well as their long term vision for the center.
Open Forum for Jean Hoskins: Tuesday, May 21, 1:15-2 p.m., 201 Lommen Hall. Ms. Hoskins holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from South Dakota State University, and a Master of Science in Special Education, emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She currently hold holds the position of School Readiness Teacher and has also served as an Early Childhood Family Educator and School Readiness Coordinator for Independent School District #549 Perham School District. In addition, she has held summer teaching positions with the Boys & Girls Club and Kids Kamp.
Open Forum for Lacey Saga: Wednesday, May 22, 1:15-2 p.m. 201 Lommen Hall. Ms. Saga holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She currently serves as Interim Director of the MSUM Early Education Center and has previously held positions as Preschool Teacher at the MSUM Early Education Center, adjunct faculty for Early Childhood Education in the College of Education & Human Services at MSUM, and taught through Early Childhood Family Education programming in Moorhead.
