“The Kid” opens Summer Cinema Series June 13
MSUM’s Summer Cinema Series runs Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in Weld Hall Glasrud Auditorium. Tickets, $4, are available at the door.
Summer Cinema 2011, in conjunction with MSUM Film Studies, features retrospective showings of some of Hollywood’s greatest stars in their best-loved and most popular motion pictures, as well as rare, seldom-seen and “lost” films. The “silents” are accompanied by pre-show pipe-organ music at 7:15 p.m. performed by Red River Chapter members of the American Theatre Organ Society, chartered in the FM area in 1965.
