MSUM Teacher Education Students Expand Expertise at Annual MNDAPE Conference

Minnesota State Moorhead (MSUM) Physical Education Teacher Education students, along with Dr. Megan Johnson, recently traveled to Camp Friendship in Annandale, Minnesota, to participate in the annual Minnesota Developmental Adapted Physical Education (MNDAPE) Conference.

The immersive two-day professional development event featured specialized sessions, hands-on workshops, and collaborative discussions focused on advancing inclusive physical education and best practices in developmental adapted physical education (DAPE). Our MSUM students represented the university exceptionally well, engaging thoughtfully with current practitioners, researchers, and leaders in the field as they prepare for their future careers.

This valuable professional growth opportunity was made possible through the generous support of the Nibbe Foundation, whose funding empowers MSUM Teacher Education students to attend premier conferences and expand their professional horizons beyond the classroom.

Thank you to the Nibbe Foundation for your continued investment in our future educators, and a special thank you to our dedicated MSUM students for representing our program with such excellence and enthusiasm!
