Major Accreditation Milestone for MSUM Athletic Training
We are thrilled to share some fantastic news from the Health and Human Performance (HHP) department: our Masters in Athletic Training program has officially earned a 5-year Initial Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)!
This significant milestone reflects a bold, forward-looking vision for MSUM Athletic Training and countless hours of dedicated work by our incredible faculty and staff. Led by Dr. Dawn Hammerschmidt, the HHP team has poured their expertise, passion, and tireless effort into developing a program that is academically rigorous, clinically robust, and deeply impactful for our campus and surrounding community.
Achieving initial CAATE accreditation is a rigorous national process that highlights the exceptional quality of our curriculum, the dedication of our faculty, and our institutional commitment to preparing future healthcare professionals for success.
