Indigenous Peoples Day Powwow – October 12

The campus community is invited to attend the Indigenous Peoples’ Day Powwow hosted by Moorhead Public Schools Indian Education on Monday, October 12 in the Moorhead High School gymnasium. The evening will begin with a community meal from 5:30 to 7 p.m., followed by the Grand Entry at 7 p.m.

Sponsored by Minnesota State Moorhead, Minnesota Humanities Center, Fargo/West Fargo Public Schools Native American Education Program, and Moorhead Public Schools Indian Education Program.

This free event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. The powwow will feature traditional songs, dance, and local arts and crafts vendors. This celebration provides an opportunity to learn more about Indigenous culture and traditions.
