Student Success Team is key to improving retention
The Student Success Team may be in its first full year, but it has led to record-high retention rates, and students are getting the support they need more than ever.
For example, when a professor noticed that first-year student Kennedy Froelich was still finding her footing during the college transition, they alerted the student success team, which promptly reached out to check in and see how they could help. Moorhead’s Student Success Team is built for moments like this.
“It really showed me someone here was paying attention and wanted me to succeed,” Kennedy says. “She connected me to resources that helped in the moment, and then helped me find a routine that works for me.”
