How Vinegar Brings Art and Science Together
Many of us speak of art and science as separate entities. Those of us who love science often say we are not good at art, while artists often describe themselves as not good at math and science. Join us April 3 at the MSUM Friday STEMinar where Lawrence Diggs (aka Vinegar Man) will describe how vinegar pierces the illusion of the separation of art and science. Through the historical development of vinegar as a food preservative to modern uses in culinary and visual arts, we will see the science of fermentation and the art of developing interesting vinegars.
The Friday STEMinar meets Fridays at 3pm on the MSUM campus in Livingston Lord Library Room 103 with refreshments at 2:30 in the Library Porch. All are welcome.
