Keri DeSutter presents at CEEDAR cross-state convening
Keri DeSutter, along with Jennifer Christensen Macari, LDA MN, Mallory Poole, Southern Utah University and Kristen Rolf, Utah State University, presented a session titled Build, Test, Rethink: A Data Think Tank with Utah and Minnesota. The session invited participants into a collaborative data deep-dive, featuring Utah’s efforts to collect mentoring and induction data and Minnesota’s CEEDAR survey focused on state policies impacting teacher preparation in the context of serving students with disabilities in inclusive settings. The session helped presenters to gather real-time feedback to strengthen data collection, inform decision-making, and improve statewide systems.
CEEDAR stands for Collaboration for Effective Educator Development, Accountability, and Reform. The mission of CEEDAR is to support students with disabilities in achieving college- and career-ready standards by building capacity of state personnel preparation systems to prepare teachers and leaders to implement evidence-based practices within multi-tiered systems of support.
