Curiosity and Heart
What fuels your passion? What sustains you and moves you forward in your life and in your work? Minnesota State Moorhead values the spirit of curiosity and heart. Share with your campus community the things that drive and foster your curiosity and heart.
On March 9 the FPLC will host our annual Spring Development Day, a chance to come together as a campus to visit, learn, and grow together. A full schedule will be shared as it becomes available. In the meantime, please register now to save the date.
Propose a Breakout Session
This year, we’re seeking presentations and discussions that highlight the richness of our unique human experiences. Consider proposing a session around:
-
- Self-expression and creativity
-
- Wellness and well-being
-
- A favorite area of expertise or personal interest
- A process, tool, or technology that enables you to focus on the meaningful, human aspects of your work
Whether you want to teach, facilitate, reflect, or simply share something that lights you up, your voice is welcome.
Join the PechaKucha Party
We are also planning a PechaKucha party as part of this year’s event. PechaKucha is a dynamic storytelling format that “celebrates people, passion, and creative thought.” In a PechaKucha 20×20, you share 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds, giving you 400 seconds to tell your story while your visuals guide the way. Created in Japan in 2003, PechaKucha (Japanese for chit-chat) is a fun, fast, and engaging way for our campus community to learn from one another without the pressure of a full-length session. It’s perfect for sharing an idea, a moment, a hobby, or a spark of inspiration. (Learn more at pechakucha.com.)
Join us on March 9 to reconnect with your curiosity, your creativity, and your community. Let’s make this a day filled with energy, meaning, and heart!
