Registration Closes November 7 for the Dragon Lair Business Plan Pitch Competition
There are only a few days left to register for the Dragon Lair Pitch Competition.
Have an idea that could turn into a real venture? Prove it on Thursday, November 20. Pitch to regional business leaders, get real feedback, and compete for up to $3,500 in prizes. Free food included.
Who can enter
- Undergraduate students
- Teams of one to five students
- Ideas must be pre revenue at concept, prototype, early launch, or growth stage
What to submit by November 7
- Participant and team info
- Project name and stage
- A brief business plan that covers problem, customer and market fit, solution and value proposition, feasibility, and traction or progress
Pitch format on November 20
- Six minute presentation plus four minute Q and A
- Slides are optional
- Judging uses a thirty point rubric across problem, market fit, solution, feasibility, traction, and presentation
Prizes
- First place three thousand five hundred dollars
- Second place one thousand five hundred dollars
- Third place five hundred dollars
