Dragons Who Serve: Crystal Teetz

Marine Corps veteran Crystal Teetz has always been driven to serve and to lead. After tours overseas and raising a family, she chose Minnesota State Moorhead to pursue a degree in accounting.

Crystal gained real-world experience through Moorhead’s Service to Success Internships, which connects military-connected students with local employers. “It gave me opportunities I didn’t even know existed,” she explains. She is also active in the Dragon Student Veterans Club, Econ Society, DECA, and the Investment Club.

Her advice to other veterans is simple: get involved early. “Opportunities come from connections, not just the classroom.”
