Biosciences Professor gives keynote at NDSU Research Symposium
Dr. Alison Wallace, Biosciences Department, presented the afternoon keynote presentation at the North Dakota State University’s School of Natural Resource Sciences annual research symposium on November 14th. The talk was titled “Climate Ambition in 2025: the Impact of Science on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)” and presented information and insights gained from Dr. Wallace’s recent two-year fellowship experience at the United States Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute where she created and coordinated climate policy curriculum for foreign service professionals. Elise Bakke, a former research student of Dr. Wallace’s and MSUM graduate with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and is now a graduate student at NDSU, also presented a talk at the symposium: “Surveying and Sampling a Riparian Woodland for Restoration”.
