Upcoming Uniface Software Upgrade – Thursday, October 23
Starting today, you can manually install the latest version of Uniface using the instructions below. Starting Thursday, October 23, 8am through Friday, October 24th, 4:30pm, we will also deploy the update automatically to all computers that currently have Uniface installed. This update needs to be installed by end of day on October 31st.
To ensure the automatic update installs successfully, please make sure your computer is powered on and Uniface is closed during the update window.
-
If Uniface is open at the time of the update, it will not install automatically.
In that case, you can manually install it through the Software Center (see instructions below).
Desktop and Taskbar Shortcuts
After the update, your desktop shortcut will be replaced automatically.
If you have pinned Uniface to your taskbar, please remove the old shortcut and re-pin a new one after the update completes.
How to Check Your Current Uniface Version
You can check which version of Uniface you have by following these steps:
-
Right-click your Uniface desktop shortcut and select Properties.
In the Shortcut tab, look at the Start in field.

If it shows C:\usys\103\isrs\prod, you have the older version.
If it shows C:\usys\104\isrs\prod, you already have the newer version installed.
