Even during uncertain times, MSUM remains committed to supporting students. The following resources are available to help you navigate personal, academic, and financial challenges:
Dragon Pantry
The Dragon Pantry provides free food and personal care items to any currently enrolled student experiencing food insecurity. It’s a confidential and welcoming resource available to you whenever needed. If individuals would like to make a donation to the Dragon Pantry we accept donations year-round in the Dean of Students Office located in Flora Frick Hall room 153.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

If you’re facing personal, academic, or financial challenges and aren’t sure where to begin, completing our intake form is a great first step. It helps us understand your situation and connect you with the right support.

Student Emergency Fund
If you’re experiencing an unexpected financial hardship that may impact your ability to remain enrolled, you may be eligible to apply for emergency funding.
To apply, please follow this link and log in using your student email (typically StarID@go.minnstate.edu).
Swipe Out Hunger
During the Fall and Spring semesters, students can apply for the Swipe Out Hunger Program through a partnership with Campus Dining. Approved students receive 15 free meal swipes into Kise, the campus dining hall. Please Click Here to apply.
