Website design updates begin rolling out
Over the next several weeks, a series of upgrades will be made to the layout of the university website. The first update launches this week, extending the top (header) and bottom (footer) bars to full width. As a result, the current navigation links that are across the top when the website loads will move into a hamburger menu on the right side. Currently, the navigation links condense into a hamburger menu on the left side of the header once a user scrolls down.
This change will allow for additional content blocks to be taken to a wider width, present a more modern layout, and enable the addition of a prominent “request information” button, which is considered best practice for university websites.
This will be the most significant change to the user experience on the site. Other content blocks will be modernized in appearance in subsequent phases, but with minimal changes to functionality.
