Dennis Jacobs Emeritus publishes book of life journey
Dr. Dennis Jacobs, faculty Emeritus of The Corrick Center and the Physics Department, publishes a memoir of his life’s journey.
“Searching for Sophia.” Sophia is the Greek word for wisdom adopted by early Gnostics and Christian Gnostics to describe their pursuit of knowledge, reason, and enlightenment. I apply the term to describe the human pursuit to better understand nature, my personal journeys to make sense of a confusing world, and a lifelong attempt to understand how an airplane stays in the air.
