Dragons in Asia
23 MSUM Dragons and friends visited South Korea and Japan on a “Doing Business in Asia” study abroad experience with main stops in Seoul, Busan, Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. Special visits included the Korean Demilitarized Zone, the KISTI supercomputer, Jeonju Hanok traditional village, the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, and the Imperial Palace in Kyoto. The group visited a number of businesses, including AmorePacific, Nongshim Foods, Doosan Enerbility and, thanks to MSUM Foundation Board Member Jay Nibbe, the offices of Ernst & Young in Tokyo. The Dragons also connected with MSUM alumni in both countries and rode the Shinkansen bullet train traveling 400 miles in 2 hours and 15 minutes. And they also ate really good food!
