Judith “Judy” Strong is remembered for her strong legacy

Judith “Judy” Strong has left an impact on the science program not only as a former professor and dean, but with funding updated labs and countless student research opportunities.  
 
“As I sit in this chair as Dean, in her office, I always try to live by her example,” Lisa Nawrot says. 
 
She is remembered by her peers for her kindness and generosity, and as a trailblazer for the importance of experiential learning in the lives of students. 
 
“Experiential learning is popular now, but Judy figured out the value of that thirty years ago,” Lisa says.
