WHPP Silent Auction Donation Request

On Saturday, April 5, Concordia College (CC) will be hosting the 34th Annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow (WHPP). The WHPP is an intercampus event jointly sponsored by Concordia College, Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State College of Science, and North Dakota State University.

The powwow is a celebration to embrace American Indian culture, to honor American Indian college graduates, and to provide the American Indian community with a sense of pride in the rich heritage of American Indian culture. This event provides a wonderful community celebration and promotes the connecting of tribal communities to the Fargo-Moorhead community. The WHPP powwow is one of the best attended cultural events in the F-M area. This year we are expecting 2,500 spectators and over 100 dancers.

We are asking for your support in helping us with our fundraising efforts.  During the powwow, we are holding a silent auction.  Silent Auction items that have been offered in the past are gift baskets, gift certificates, event tickets, and/ or hand-made craft items. Your donation is tax deductible.

This event provides a wonderful community celebration and promotes the connecting of tribal communities. We appreciate your support!
